A Cobra space shuttle steals TV satellites. On Earth, G.I. Joe finds its television full of Cobra propaganda. Cobra beams its programming from a mountain peak and strong-arms advertisers for exorbitant fees to fund the project. The Joes use space-capable Skystrikers to attack Cobra's space station, but they are easily shot down. They make it back to Earth alive, and Ace takes more Joes through astronaut training for a second attempt.
Ace selects Roadblock, Alpine, Lady Jaye, Scarlett, and Wild Bill, and with a senator's help, they ride a rocket into space. Ace's Skystriker is disabled and the others are caught in a tractor beam. The remaining crew use the station's gun ports to sneak aboard, and they subdue Destro and the Dreadnoks in a zero-G fight. The station is damaged in the battle, but the Joes escape in Cobra's space shuttle and rescue Ace. With Cobra TV off the air, actor Mr. C visits the Joe Team, hoping to join.
