	CRIMSON GUARD COMMANDERS are good at what they do, there's no denying that. Even DUKE admits they are some of the toughest Cobra soldiers he's ever had the displeasure of dealing with, especially when they are armed with their weapon of choice: modified AK-47 assault rifles! They're very good at being very bad, and have participated at all levels of Cobra operations from industrial espionage to full-scale global attacks. COBRA COMMANDER considers them his top officers, and feels safe having them swear their allegiance strictly to him. For if they were to ever turn against him, they would prove to be his second most feared enemy, next to the Joes, of course! Vehicle Proficiency: Licensed to operate all Cobra land and air vehicles, including the Detonator and Ice Snake. Motto: "Being the best in Cobra means being the worst in the world!"

	MEGA-VIPERS are the driving force behind the Cobra MEGA-MONSTERS, and they go right into the thick of battle with the Monsters to prove it. There's not much out there that's more terrifying than a bunch of highly trained Mega-Vipers charging at you with a few Mega-Monsters by their sides . . . talk about a wave of destruction! Although intelligence commands for the Monsters are issued by DR.MINDBENDER or through his CYBER-VIPERS, it's the skilled tactics and "fight to the fiinish" attitude of the Mega-Vipers that lead the Monsters on their attack missions. Doing the dirty work, with or without the Mega-Monsters, is what the Mega-Vipers do best!

Molson (pop. 23) is a mostly abandoned, unsuccessful mining project in north central WA on the US-Canada border. It is commonly considered a ghost town. The other Washington Joes are from the Seattle area: Lifeline and Rapid-Fire from Seattle itself (as well as Ace on his 1992 filecard), and Recoil from Fashion (Vashon?) Island.
Note: Filecards from 2002 onward spelled the last name Baikun. All filecards misspell the city as Molsen.

When the MEGA-MARINES began recruiting men who could handle heavy, high-tech firepower, Mirage was their first choice. 	BLAST-OFF was the best firefighter the state of Missouri had ever seen. Single-handedly, he once extinguished an entire forest fire when other firemen became incapacitated by smoke inhalation. This courageous effort of persistence and skill earned him a spot on the G.I. Joe team, but instead of putting fires out, he was assigned to light them . . . right under Cobra's butt! When it was discovered that Cobra MEGA-MONSTERS were vulnerable to flames and extreme heat, Blast-Off was issued a super-charged flamethrower and immediately assigned to the Mega-Marines team. MINDBENDER created the CYBER-VIPERS because he needed two things: intelligent soldiers who could handle his highly dangerous, bio-engineering operations laboratory, AND keep the genetically enhanced MEGA-MONSTERS under control. The Cyber-Vipers do both. They are first-rate fighters with evil brains enhanced by Mindbender himself. They are first-rate fighters with evil brains enhanced by Mindbender himself. They are half-man and half-robot, and both halves form one tough enemy for the MEGA-MARINES to fight. These cybernetic troopers help control the top-level command operations of the Mega-Monsters and are responsible for initiating their destructive attacks. They are the guardians of monsters, the overseers of doom. Motto: "We are Cobra's elite cybernetic organisms: walking computers with bad attitudes!"
