Cliff V. Mewett (African-American with Flemish surname) of Boston, MA. Boston, at I-90 and I-95 on the east coast, is the state's largest city (pop. 590,763) and was the site of a large Irish immigrant settlement from the 1820s to the 1890s. Barbecue and Blocker are also from Boston, and Cross Hair, Side Track, Space Shot, and Wide Scope were born in other cities in the metro area. Note: Airwave is also given the file name Cliff V. Mewett.

SNOW STORM - a very heavy fall of snow driven by strong winds.	Char. #251, 151st Joe Team member
Guillermo "Willie" Suarez (American with Spanish surname) of Havana, Cuba. Havana is Cuba's capital and largest city (pop. 2,328,000), in the western portion of the main island. The other Caribbean characters are Zanzibar of the Cayman Islands, Gristle of Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Rampage of the US Virgin Islands.

Snow Storm accepted the Joe's offer but disliked his first assignment: trying to stop Cobra Vipers from attacking a science station at the north pole. He wasn't afraid of the Vipers; he just hated the cold! Nevertheless, he accomplished this frigid mission (and many others) with great success. After being given a customized, high-tech thermal suit to wear, he agreed to stay in the Arctic where he functions so well at pulverizing Cobra! Motto: "If only I wasn't so good at my job, maybe I'd get assigned somewhere SOUTH of the equator!" Toy Notes: Item #6779. Originally intended to be part of the canceled 1993 assortment of Eco-Warriors. Note that Snow Storm's motto makes no sense geographically. DiC Cartoon Notes: Spoke 96 lines in 7 episodes. First appeared and spoke in Revenge of the Pharaohs. Total appearances: 11. Wore a 1990 Night-Creeper outfit without the face cloth, occasionally with a cape.
Prioritized Appearance List: The Sword, Night of the Creepers, Revenge of the Pharaohs, Stuck on You, Injustice and the Cobra Way, and Shadow of a Doubt. One line: That's Entertainment. Silent: Cold Shoulder, The Greatest Evil I, Basic Training, and The Legend of Metal-Head. Night Creeper Leader is not included in any DiC opening sequences.

Robert J. Travalino (American with Italian surname) of Hartsdale, NY. Hartsdale (pop. 9,830) is a subdivision of Greenburgh, on the Bronx River just north of New York City. Other Joes north of the NYC area are Hard Drive of Yonkers, T'Gin-Zu of Somers, and Sgt. Lifeline of Spring Valley. Many other Joes are from the city itself.

Banzai trained in the hostile mountain climate of Tibet where he perfected his "suzushi slam" and gained discipline and inspiration from a spiritual ninja master livng in seclusion. Having mastered the use of nunchakus along with his lethal slam technique, he is surely considered "double the trouble" by Cobra! Motto: "To get in touch with my inner self, I always practice nunchakus with my eyes closed." Variations: Early packaging described an incorrect ninja move and was soon corrected. + Bushido

BUSHIDO - honor code of the samurai of feudal Japan, based on loyalty and obedience.	Char. #254, 153rd Joe Team member
Lloyd S. Goldfine (American with German Ashkenazic surname) of Hollis, Queens, NY. Hollis is a neighborhood in the southeast portion of Queens in New York City. Heavy Metal, Nunchuk, and Tunnel Rat were born in Brooklyn to the west. Other Joes from NYC are Backblast, Big Brawler, Crossfire, Rampart, and Zap.
