Grunt
- Infantry Trooper: The infantryman supervises, leads, or serves as a member of an infantry activity that employs individual or crew served weapons in support of offensive and defensive combat operations.
- Infanty Squad Leader: Leads an infantry squad and/or a reconnaissance (scout) team during combat operations. Supervises tactical deployment of assigned element in offensive, defensive, and retrograde operations. Provides tactical and technical guidance to subordinates and professional support to both subordinates and superiors in the accomplishment of their duties. As Artillery Coordinator, coordinates action of the element with adjacent and support elements and organic and supporting fire power.
- Falcon Pilot: Principally responsible for the Joe Team's fleet of gliders; coordinates unpowered aerial reconnaissance missions with the Air Commandos leader.
- Small Arms Armorer/Repairman: Performs direct and general support maintenance and repairs on small arms and other infantry weapons, and towed artillery. Diagnoses and troubleshoots malfunctions on this and related equipment.
Cobra
- Infantry: serves as a member of an infantry activity that employs individual or crew served weapons in support of offensive and defensive combat operations.
- Sabotage: plans and performs sabotage operations with standard, nonstandard, and improvised munitions and explosives, and any other methods to destroy or damage vital facilities.
- Terrorism: uses unconventional warfare tactics to instill fear in populations as a means of coersion toward Cobra's ultimate and immediate goals.
Cobra Officer
- Infantry: supervises or leads an infantry activity that employs individual or crew served weapons in support of offensive and defensive combat operations.
- Artillery: leads in the fire support, operations/intelligence, and target acquisition activities in field artillery unit. Leads and supervises coordination and implementation of cannon, missile, rocket, or target acquisition operations, training programs, administrative matters, and communication activities.
- Intelligence: performs collection management, surveillance, and reconnaissance activities and provides advice on the use of intelligence resources on all levels.
- Command: specializes in the effective exercise of authority over subordinates by virtue of rank and immediate assignment, including the authority to plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and control Cobra forces for the accomplishment of assigned missions. Employs all necessary means to ensure that the Cobra Commander's orders are carried out.
