	As leader of the SAND SCORPION forces, NEUROTOXIN has an overabundance of the aggressive traits common to these desert fighters. Like all SAND SCORPION troops, NEUROTOXIN was hand-picked from the COBRA SAND VIPERS to have his DNA recombined with that of scorpions to produce a more effective warrior. NEUROTOXIN is particularly ornery, though he exhibits unusual charisma among his troops. Very powerful, he has disdain for his new appearance and wants nothing more than to revert to his human form. Brandishing his weapons with venomous fury, he leads his troops, a dust-covered whirlwind of doom, to stop the advance of the G.I. JOE Team in most arid environments. Completely buried in the sand, he waits patiently in ambush. Sensing the approach of a victim by feeling vibrations through the packed desert floor, he erupts out of his burrow to attack.

	As a result of the recombination process, most RAZOR TROOPER soldiers cannot remember much about themselves prior to their change. This allows them to have almost complete focus on the task at hand, which is to rip apart anything in front of them. Commissioned by COBRA ALLEY VIPER forces, RAZOR TROOPER fighters have instinctive combat skills hard-swired directly into their nervous systems, and their pain tolerance level is cranked up to "10." They see through a red haze of unrestrained anger, and a low menacing growl often escapes from between their teeth. Led by RAZORCLAW, they are unleashed into an area of operation, where the wild tiger DNA part of them takes over and they begin to stalk and capture their prey. While proficient with high-tech weaponry, they are not solely dependent upon it. Their most potent weapons are their razor-sharp claws, which are retracted until an attack, when they spring out instantly, to be used with ruthless precision against whatever is in their path.

GHOST BEAR - a clan from the BattleTech wargaming/science fiction series.

Jesse Kwinn, Jr. (Inuit with Irish surname) of Chukchi Peninsula, Eastern Siberia.
The Chukchi Peninsula is the portion of Siberia nearest Alaska and is home to several Eskimo people groups. Politically it is part of Russia's Chukotka Autonomous Okrug (pop. 53,824).

	Born in a remote Inuit village on the Russian side of the Bering Strait, GHOST BEAR learned how to track and hunt in the most unforgiving environment on the face of the planet. An expert long-range rifleman, he is also equally skillful with pistols and knives. KWINN, the father of GHOST BEAR, was a mercenary in the employ of the COBRA organization when he was killed during a major assault on G.I. JOE Headquarters. GHOST BEAR never learned that his father had switched sides and had teamed up with SNAKE EYES before his death, so he is still carrying a wrongful grudge against the G.I. JOE Team, and SNAKE EYES in particular. "When I'm driving a PULVERIZER, I become the PULVERIZER, and can make it do anything I want."

They can also provide their own light source during night operations, but luckily for the G.I. JOE team, the ELECTRIC EEL troops flash uncontrollably when they are over-stressed, making them easier to spot. "We love the smell of burning insulation. It smells like...victory."

His main drawback is his tendency to grow sluggish and lethargic in cold weather. COIL CRUSHER can slither silently through tall grass on his belly, or glide across the tops of tree branches to drop suddenly on an unsuspecting point man. Few can withstand the bone-crushing strength of his long, sinuous arms when he wraps them around his victim and squeezes. None can ward off the terrible effects of the venom he sprays in the faces of his victims. "You will never see me, you will never hear me, you will never sense my presence until I have already crushed the air from your lungs."

On the downside, they despise fire and tend to get listless and complacent in warm weather. "The enemy cannot escape. The elements cannot hide them—or stop us."
